Project Summary
City of San Jacinto (2021)
The 2021 Citywide Street Improvement project consisted of the
rehabilitation and reconstruction of over 30,000 ft. of pavement on 15
streets throughout the city. The rehabilitation methods included grind
and overlay, complete reconstruction and cold-in-place recycling.
IFE Role
IFE performed the pavement evaluation for design of the project
improvements. Our services included documentation of the existing pavement
conditions, exploratory coring and drilling, laboratory testing, and preparation of report
with alternative recommendations for pavement rehabilitation. Alternative
recommendations were presented for full depth reclamation, grind and overlay and
cold in-place recycling. During the construction phase IFE services included
compaction testing for subgrade, base and asphalt concrete.
