Peacock Neighborhood Resurfacing
Project Summary
City of Menifee (2021-2022)
The Peacock Neighborhood occupies approximately 36 acres with 10 paved streets. The project included rehabilitation of existing
streets with grind and overlay, and complete reconstruction in some areas. ADA curb ramps were improved to current standards
IFE Role
IFE performed a pavement investigation for the street rehabilitation, including documentation of the existing pavement conditions, types
and extent of pavement distress, summary of existing pavement and aggregate base thickness, laboratory testing, site plan with core
locations and alternative recommendations for pavement rehabilitation. Pavement recommendations for each street included
alternative methods for full depth reclamation, grind and overlay and cold in-place recycling. IFE provided geotechnical consultation,
compaction testing of base and asphalt concrete pavement, batch plant inspection and laboratory testing during construction.
