The new Soboba Sovovatum Village is located southwest of and adjacent to the intersection of Lake Park Drive and Soboba Road in San Jacinto, CA. The Sovovatum Village, is a retail center that will serve as a gateway to greet visitors to the Soboba Casino Resort and reservation. IFE Role

IFE prepared a preliminary geotechnical investigation report which provided geotechnical engineering recommendations for design and construction of the proposed development. IFE provided all required compaction testing and special inspection during construction. For this project the site grades ranged from about 10 to 13 feet below final design grades. Final site grades were achieved by filling with imported soil which was compacted and tested. Other services included, observation and compaction testing during placement of backfill for 36-inch CMP and 96-inch RCP storm drain, subgrade preparation and placement of aggregate base and asphalt concrete in pavement areas, special inspection of shop/field welding, ultra-sonic testing and reinforced masonry inspection.
